Mehret Hope

My name is Mehret Hope, founder of The Hope Centre UK (Previously known as Hope Pilates). With over 14 years of experience in Pilates, Yoga, and various complementary therapies. I have dedicated my career to helping others find relief from musculoskeletal pain and injuries. My personal journey with Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, diagnosed after years of undiagnosed pain, led me to discover the transformative power of Pilates. While I initially taught Yoga and Hot Yoga, I now advise against them for those with hypermobility, as they can exacerbate joint issues. My expertise in managing feet and Work-Related Upper Limb Disorders (WRULD) injuries has been honed through my role as a Physio for BRFC, collaboration with Camden Physiotherapy. and mentorship from leading hypermobility consultants and specialists.

At The Hope Centre UK, I focus on holistic, safe practices tailored to those with hypermobility. Our offerings include Pilates, personalised physical therapy including Sports taping, and couch-based treatments, all designed to enhance well-being without the risks associated with Yoga. My mission is to advocate for safe, effective treatment options that empower individuals to live pain-free lives while addressing the unique challenges of hypermobility. I lead by example. Not only have I fully healed, in the best shape I have ever been but also able to enjoy weight training and also working as a masseuse.
